What age is The Little Terrace suitable for?
Our play village is designed for young children, typically from toddlers up to around 8 years old. All children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. We will have a small section of the room dedicated to smaller children.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, we recommend booking in advance to secure your space. Walk-ins may be available if we have capacity, but cannot be guaranteed.
How long are sessions?
Sessions will typically last 1 hour 30 minutes. This gives children plenty of time to explore and enjoy all areas of the play village.
What’s included in a session?
Each session includes access to our full role play village, featuring areas such as the bakery, post office, and more, designed to spark imagination and creative play.
Do adults need to pay?
Yes, we charge £1 per adult attending. This helps us maintain a calm, clean and comfortable environment for everyone.
Can I bring food or snacks?
We offer a small selection of drinks and snacks.
Food can be enjoyed in the parent lounge area only and should not be taken into the role play village.
We kindly ask that food or drink purchased outside of The Little Terrace is not consumed on the premises.
Is there parking?
There is no parking onsite however there are many pay and display car parks around us.
Is it exclusive play or shared sessions?
Our standard sessions are shared. We also offer private hire and party bookings—please see our Parties page for more information.
Do you offer parties?
Yes! We offer beautifully styled role play parties. Please visit our Parties page or contact us for more details.
What if my child is shy or unsure?
That’s completely normal! We create a calm, welcoming environment and children are free to explore at their own pace.
Can I stay with my child?
Yes, we encourage parents/carers to stay, relax, and enjoy the experience alongside their child.
What are your safety measures?
Your child’s safety is our priority. Our play areas are carefully designed, and we ask all adults to supervise children at all times.
